GET TO KNOW ALECTRONA COFFEE CO.
I am a female, artisan coffee roaster who started roasting coffee as a hobby, that quickly grew into an obsessive passion! Using the five senses to roast the perfect batch of coffee every time is extremely important to me. I like to keep the batches small enough to continue to use sound, sight and smell for each roast. Using software and simply pushing a button is not why I got into roasting, so I continue to keep a hands-on approach. This allows for the quality and flavor to be of utmost importance, that you will taste in every cup!
Why Alectrona? Alectrona is said to be the Goddess of sun and morning, or 'waking from slumber'. It is believed that she woke the dreamers every morning. I imagine waking up on a beautiful morning with a freshly roasted cup of coffee is similar to being awoken by the beautiful sun Goddess, Alectrona.
